In other Couchfire Collective news, we were recently profiled in  GCAC’s “Front Row Center” newsletter, along with Wild Goose Creative and Columbus Music Co-Op, as an example of artists running a successful collective/co-op while fostering a strong sense of community. Couchfire member Jay Moffett talks about what our group does and what makes it unique and special. Click HERE to read the article, written by Jennifer Sadler.

Couchfire welcomes two new members!

In the past few months, Couchfire welcomed in two fantastic ladies, Megan Green and Amy Neiwirth.

Megan, though mostly known for her quick wit, is also the magic worker behind Stinkybomb Soap. Megan has a wealth of experience with the craft world. She is a member of the Crafty Cotillion and has organized craft events including the most recent incarnation of Craftin’ Outlaws. She also spends her time tending to her husband Rob and making sure her daughter Olivia finds a way to hit the toilet instead of the bathtub. Sure to bring some fun to the group, we are excited to have her as part of the group.

Amy is the sweet creator of everything delicious and small. She shows her work at several locations and on her website Her work has become well know and her confectionery creations have lead her to connections with the Crafty Cotillion. By weekday she is disguised as a hard nosed school teacher, leaving the rest of the time to be a constant smiling face. When going gets tough, there is always use for another smile and we are glad to have her with us.

Keep up with us.
